These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of AstroVellum ("AstroVellum", "we", "us"), its website at astrovellum.com and everything offered on it. By using AstroVellum you agree to these Terms, to our Acceptable Use Policy and to our Refund Policy, which are part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
AstroVellum offers astrology and numerology calculators, such as birth charts, rising and moon signs, life path numbers and tarot card draws, which are free to use. It also offers AI-written readings that interpret those results, which are paid for with credits.
For entertainment purposes only. AstroVellum is not a psychic, medium or fortune-telling service. Readings do not predict the future, and nothing on the site is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Do not make important decisions about your health, money, relationships or safety based on a reading; talk to a qualified professional instead.
Readings are written by AI models, not by a person, and the site does not present them as coming from a human reader. Calculator results follow the methods described on each page, but we do not claim that astrology, numerology or tarot are accurate, and AI-written text can contain mistakes or contradict itself.
You need an account to buy credits and to get most AI readings. You can sign in with Google, and with a one-time code sent to your email address where the site offers that option. New accounts receive 5 free credits once; we may withhold this gift when we see many accounts created from the same network or device.
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. If you think someone else is using your account, contact us at support@astrovellum.com.
Visitors who are not signed in can get up to 2 free AI readings a day, of the kinds marked as free on the site (currently dream interpretation and the yes or no tarot explanation). The number of free readings available across the whole site each day is limited, so free readings can run out for the day. We may change or pause free use at any time. Readings given without an account are not saved.
Each AI reading costs the number of credits shown next to it before you confirm. Credits are taken when the reading is started and are returned automatically if the reading is refused by our safety checks or cannot be completed. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account and can only be used on AstroVellum.
Current prices are on our pricing page. We may change prices or what a reading costs in credits. A price change for an existing subscription applies from a later billing period, and we will tell you before it does.
Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. By buying, you authorize the charge to your payment method, and for subscriptions, the recurring charge until you cancel.
You can cancel a subscription at any time. It stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and then does not renew. All purchases are final: credit packs and subscription payments are not refundable, except in the cases listed in our Refund Policy or where the law requires it.
AstroVellum first calculates the facts of a reading itself, such as planet positions or the cards drawn. A third-party large language model, accessed through OpenRouter, then writes the text. AstroVellum is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the companies that make those models.
You may keep, print and share the readings you receive for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not resell readings or offer them as part of a paid service. Similar inputs can produce similar text for other people, so a reading is not guaranteed to be unique.
You keep any rights you have in what you type into the site. You allow us to process it, and to store it with the reading in your account, only to provide the service to you. Only enter information you are entitled to share. If you enter another person's details, for example a partner's birthday for a compatibility reading, make sure they would be comfortable with it.
We use keyword screening and an automated model check on the questions and text you submit. We do not give readings about when someone will die, illness or diagnosis, pregnancy or a baby's sex, lottery or betting numbers, self-harm, curses, spells or hexes, or controlling, following or spying on another person. Such requests are refused and any credits or free uses are returned. The full rules are in our Acceptable Use Policy.
The site's code, design, text, articles, illustrations and calculators belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us, and are protected by intellectual property laws. Material from third parties, such as city data, images and fonts, is used under its own license; the sources are listed on our About page. You may not copy the site or its content in bulk.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or payment to you.
We may change, add or remove features, including free ones, at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, for example by repeatedly trying to get around our safety checks or by abusing free credits. You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any calculation or reading will be accurate, complete or suitable for any purpose. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AstroVellum and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or of any reading. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the law where you live.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version applies from the date shown at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
